i noticed her, when she was stepping out of the tram. i knew i had to have her photo. problem? 70-200mm on body...
it was probably fastest lens switch in the history of photography;P i was rewarded with everything i wanted: a girl, dynamics, climate & not-entirely-told story.
oh & btw... there's Lisbon's Cathedral behind me(;

Hi, I love this, really well done ! As you say : a (beautiful) girl, movement, climate, a story we will never know...
Great perspective also with the diagonal, the tram lines (great decorations on them by the way, wish they would do that in Brussels), the dark grey sky gives a fantastic mood.

it/s really dynamic and colorful scene...

Great shot! Usually you're supposed to have a person coming into a picture, not stepping out of it, but here it works perfectly. I love the strange perspective and the twisted angles, and the colours are fantastic.
Very well done,

I like it too. Great colours help. The distortion seems wonderfully appropriate here. The sky is marvellous. A delightfully energetic capture, taken in the nick of time. Well done.

well done for your exploit (fastest lens switch in the history of photography)
well composed, dynamic framing, good contrasts, well managed

I love the wide angle distortion!
There is also something very captivating in the contrast of such lighthearted elements (a young girl, a colourful tram)and somehow dramatic sky and the dark pavement. Good work, Marek.

a very nice picture. Dynamic and with a very good colour and lights balance. The composition is nice too.

superbe moment de vie sur cette photo, un instant de qualité le cadrage sur la jeune femme à demie visible est parfait pour accentuer le côté mobile

Hi Marek.Your "short story " works for me very much,composing the frame in a very good way,the timing,the angle,the view,the dynamic,etc,etc,etc

Welcome on TE and it's a very good shot. I like very much your POV, the girl's movement, the yellow tramway. It's a good beginning...

I love it !
The sky, the colors, the movement...
May be without the car it would bay even better...
All the best

I like the dynamic and atmosphere of this shot. Exposure is perfect to keep the clouds dark and a well exposed foreground. Composition is perfect too.
branley (3681) 2007-12-11 2:25
everything seems to be oldy worldy about your shot, the buildings, the tram and even the girls dress, the sky is very dramatic, it adds great atmosphere and it all fits together so well. It's street photography at its best and the sort of stuff I'd like to be able to do....just got to introduce trams up here that's all!
Regards and have a great festive season,
