The cherry tree is important in Provence, because the region of Carpentras is famous for its cherries. This is part of the "terroir".
That shot is sunny, because we are in the south of France, and we have more sunny days than northern neighbours. The landscape shows autumn colors with such a blue sky ... the same as during summer !
I have reduced the picture for TE, and added a frame, that's all.

Beautiful colors. I wish the sky had a darker hue of blue (do you have a polarizer or did you use it perhaps?). Everything else is just fantastic. Perhaps you could have moved a bit to the right so that we could have seen the house in its entirety.
