Photographer’s Note
The Bund Seightseeng Tunnel, Shanghai, China.
I am posting a picture taken under difcult lght conditons inside the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel in Shanghai. It is extremely touristic manner to cross the river, but it is also an attraction of it's own: a funny, spacy, naerly psychadelic way of transportaton.
The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel has an advantageous geographic location: the exit and entrance are set respectively at Nanjing Road Bund and the booming Lujiazui financial and trade area. It has a length of 646.7 meters. An advanced unpiloted automatic control system is used. 12 sightseeing compartments that are transparent on its four walls continuously transport tourists to and fro between the banks of Huangpu River. At a speed of three meters per second, it takes only five minutes to finish the whole journey, with a maximum volume of 5000 people per hour. In the tunnel, helped both by various technical means and lighting system, series of pavonine pictures are presented before the eye of tourists. High-fidelity stereo system makes the tourists feel as if they were in a dream, enjoying the excitement of "penetrating the Earth". The tunnel is fed with latest technology light- and laser-show and at some place some sort of ghost is floating in between the tracks ...
Shoting a picture was very difficult, because I only had a lens with f4 min aperture and always changing lightening conditions. This shot was taken at 1600iso setting.

Hi Mike
Great capture under difficult conditions - crisp with very little motion blur. I would like to see this some day.

psychedelic !!! Applauses for the POV and the conceptual thinking and inclination to shoot a picture like this.

Hi Mike,
While it surely is impossible to give idea of the whole experience with one picture, this is well done. Good framing and exact exposure. Funny looking cabins and sircles of light give dreamlike feeling.

Salut Mike,
Bel effet graphique avec ta photo de tunnel. La succession des anneaux et les dégradés de jaune renforcent le sentiment de mouvement.

Hi Mike
Considering the difficult conditions, you have managed to take and interesting and graphic shot. It certainly is original too. Your pov along the rails and the curve helps compensate the lack of depth due to the f/4. It was good timing having the other vehicule in the image. I like the yellow light in the background.

C'est graphique et futuriste,je la verrais bien en couverture d'un roman de science fiction,la repetition des cercles donne beaucoup de profondeur,
bien vu,
