Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it look as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
oh, yesterday came suddenly

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
oh, I believe in yesterday

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
oh, I believe in yesterday, Mm

Lennon/Mcartney

While I was working on this photo I heard this lovely popular song...Yesterday" takes the form of an acoustic ballad about a lost loved one. It was the first official recording by The Beatles that relied upon a performance by a single member of the band: McCartney was accompanied solely by a string quartet. The final recording differed so greatly from other works by The Beatles that the other three members of the band vetoed the release of the song as a single in the United Kingdom. Although credited to "Lennon/McCartney", as were all Beatles songs written by either member of the pair, the song was written solely by McCartney.
Admire it's lirics..and Enjoy

And about photo...Great climate, nice composition but I think the horizont is little going down on the right side. Or maybe its only my bed feeling? We will try to make a WS...lets see what will be the result...

Greetings from a rainy day in Wash D.C. Carmel. The diagonals in this composition are dynamic and so is lighting. This kind of scene makes me long for summer. A good one. Danilo

Wonderful composition, Carmel!
I love how the land and the clouds seem to merge on the right! Excellent timing to capture the sun just dipping below the horizon yet colouring the underside of the clouds beautifully!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Many thanks for your kind comments on 'Sailing to Solva'.

Carmel, my friend, even if I'm not a big fan of the Beatles I have to say that song is something amazing and it's one of the most beautiful song ever!!
The picture is good, great feeling, nice colours and shades; I might have cropped a bit of the darker side in the fg to try a panoramic view.
Take care and all the best wishes
Igor
