Hola Serena, te quedó espectacular la foto, los detalles se ven con muchísima claridad, lo que tiene mucho mérito.

Excelentes tonos, colores, un cielo precioso, y una nota interesante.

Hi Serena,
This is quite different POV of Victoria!!Love the side-on view that you managed here.Think, the top part of one of the dome is cut, had you gone few steps back perhaps then you could have managed the whole view.Anyway, a good one.

The lighting you have on this building is very beautiful. It's given it a nice soft feel.It's a shame you cut off the dome as Dhurjati mentioned, but overall, it's a good photograph.

The sky on this one is gorgeous, Serena. It's a nice contrast to the brilliant white of the building, but I agree with dhurjati about taking a few steps back. Alternatively you could have cropped off the grass and an inch off the left hand side, made it into a square format and only show the bulding and the sky, a nice big white frame and hey presto!

Hi Serena. A good shot with balanced tone and colour and a good POV.Taking a few steps back from where you took this snap would have saved the top right corner getting cropped out. I did post a few snaps of Victoria Memorial in TE few months back.

There are plenty of tourist attractions in and around Kolkata. To be precise, the vibrant life and people of Kolkata is itself a place of attraction -- tourist or otherwise. Cheers.

the last few days I had been watching your pictures from Barcalona of Trieste, and now you have uploaded a picture from my hometown!!!
... and I am living in Trieste now ;o)
This is a good shot, maybe you should have not cut the top right off!

Well, I go not agree much with you that Kolkata does not have many things to see... maybe you can find something interesting from my gallery.

Ciao Serena,
bella luce che crea un piacevole contrasto tra il cielo plumbeo e il marmo bianco-dorato del monumento. Anche la distorsione prospettica sottolinea piacevolmente la maestosita' del Memoriale. Peccato un po' per la cupola tagliata, che pero' non intacca la funzionalita' della composizione. Dario.

Non sai quanto amo questi cieli neri con lo scorcio di luce che creano dei contrasti come quello che ci hai postato tu Serena ...
Anche a me in viaggio ogni tanto capita...ma il più delle volte non così c..o da avere un soggetto "bello bianco" da fotografare .... eccellente composizione, brava.
