A grim but truthful scene from the river banks of Varanasi. Would have expected to see a better quality image though considering that your equipment is quite capable of it. Is this a crop from the original?

Agrre with comment above, fascianting capture, of great cultural interest, but the image quality makes it seem like it was taken in 1974.
