Photographer’s Note
Family vacation last spring break at Lake Tahoe. My mom walked to the end of the pier and fell off (kidding). She ducked down at the end of the pier in a depression (hard to see it here).

Like the way the pier leads ones eyes, Very simple and strong composition. Just the minimum necessary elements required.
Has sort of IR effect.
Excellent photograph.

Long time no see. Doesn't feel like spring but I love it for its simplicity. I like the buoys disapearing in the fog, and the footprints are just the icing on the cake, so to speak :-) As a minor nit: The perspectively distorted bollards in the foreground are IMO a bit distracting from the serene mood of the image.

impressive photo indeed! and poor mum of yours! LOL Pity you did not push a little bit the contrasts on the feet prints to give them more presence. A very dramatic photo! well done!
