A Sequel to my previous post...

The Sensex touched a new high this week making an indian the richest man - at least for some time... so what does it has to do with my post?

The sensex shooting up and the economic growth parameters pointin north might mean loads to a lot of people... but would it mean the same for this man here or the millions like him...such indicators only show the growing disparity... where are we headed? will the driver of the cart be able to afford the raise in prices owing to a growing economy? He and millions like him would be wading through the water against the current putting in much struggle.... all this for mere existence... Oh India - Where are we headed? 60 years of INDEPENDENCE?

Hi Pracas,

excellent moment capture, very beautiful image. The buffalos profile creates a great dynamism and B/W works well.

Compliments

Gio

Hi Pracas, a nice composition, the B&W works well. Regards, Jean

Hi Pracas,

I like this archaic means of transport with itīs big wheels. Fascinating...
the connection with the stock exchange is evident, but things will improve, if we all are wise...

Hi Pracas. Very nicely composed. The distinction between the man and cart against the background makes a very strong picture. Nice black and white tones.

Hi pracas,
I keep looking at this image and am only imagining the life and struggles that it seems to suggest. Very good capture and use of the panorama format is perfect. Thank you for sharing this outstanding shot. Gerald

An interesting scene, good shot and nice view in B&W. Pity that horizon falling right.

A strong photograph with an unusual crop. That crow adds an essential moment. Good black and white.
Your note to go with this is searingly objective.
Hope we find a way.
