Photographers Note
This is a young lady trying to help the trip to Japan for the next 2 year to be peaceful. He is serving in the USMC and a week after the photo was taken he was sent off to war. Very moving couple.
Wanted to reflect back in time to WWII and what it must have been like.

Merhaba Pam,
Çok güzel bir portre denemesi, çok başarılı.
Renk ayarı da oldukça iyi, siyah beyaz olsaydı sanırım bu kadar başarılı olmazdı.

Hello Pam...
...you have created the atmosphere of those years, the oldish look, but from my point of view...some noise and blur works good here.A zig-zag frame would be also a perfect choice, but i didn`t find one...I made a WS to show you my opinion.TFS
have a nice weekend,
Lucian

Hey Pam, this is a good one. I like the expression of both of them. The b/w effect looks just good here. It is a very meaningful picture regarding to what you described in the note.
Personally, I cannot leave this beautiful girl. I'd rather lose the war... and stay with her! ;-) (^^)

Pam, the picture is great and the girl is gorgeous, but if the guy is in the air force then he should take off the USMC uniform because he is wearing Lance Corporal Stripes.

Hi Pam. A poignant moment captured for eternity. She has certainly a lot of charm, including "The Look" she is giving her beau. A beautiful photograph in B&W. TFS. Murray.

Hello Pam,
I ran across this amazing photo a few days ago but I didn't have time to critique it. This indeed has a fantastic WWII feel to it. The only hint that it is contemporary is the Marine's modern uniform. The Marine's wife or girlfriend looks like she is right out ot the 1940s. My wife is an avid old movie buff and she loves this shot. Very creative work!

This is a fantastic shot. The emotion is wonderful. You wouldn't think it was real, more a shot with models or actors. Great capture"
