Did anyone think Yemen was behind the times? Oh no, this is a typical scene from a Yemeni village.

WOW Gert, what striking shot, well done, perfect, composition, position of view, exposure and reflections, simply brilliant, well done, thanks for sharing it with us and keep them coming, regards, Salas

Hola:
Indudablemente donde no llega nadie, siempre podras tomarte una Coca-Cola.
Muy buena y curiosa fotografia.
Un saludo desde España:
Pablo

Hej Gert,
A very interesting picture with the red truck as the eye-catcher. Colours and composition is also very good. A pity with the cables across the sky but I guess that´s also part of civilization. But what is the brown liquid leaking on the ground? Could it be...?

Hi Gert,
I like this scene, it really shows that the big red comapnay has spread his wings all over the world...something that can't be stopped.
Did some small adjustments on your image in a ws, hope you can live with that.
I did not that much, but just a minor boost because the image speaks for itself.
Have a nice day, Henk

Hi Gert!

This is a magnificent place and a great subject. Your composition is flawless and all the technical part (sharpness, contrast etc.) just perfect. What really impresses me are these fantastic, "intense" colours. Congratulations!

Best regards,
Hercules

Hallo Gert!
An interesting, an a bit thoughtful making and a funny photo. What a contrast! If Coca Cola is an indication of civilisation ... ;-)
Greetings from autumnal grey Germany!

Hi Gert,

you're right. civilization has arrived...or better...global brands are getting more and more global!
I posted yesterday a somehow similar pic where an inviting cous-cous dish is placed next to a coca-cola bottle.
regional food against global drink!
well done
Silvio

Hej Gert
The question is, does it leak? or is it the driver who had far to many:)
I like the picture very much, it has that kind exotic twist that makes me smile a bit.
and red works well against the sandycolors and the sky.

Et oui, et oui, Coco Cola est de partout - Mais quelquefois il est bien utile... sans quoi on a encore ici de belles exemples d'architecture yémènite - mes amitiés - daniel

Hello Gert,
Strong contrasty tonality with a red cast is very impressive. The composition that put the global icon coca-cola delivery truck on the point moved from the rule of thirds a little, is also very good.
Intriguing shot!
Have a nice day, Hisashi
