Photographer’s Note

During my travel in the Ardennen Belgium, on the border between Belgium and Luxembourg in Bourcy, I met again this beautiful picture, I thought there a beautiful photograph of making, but it weather is not very well, but the photograph is according to me still reasonable good, this region is nicely particularly around Houffalize.

This picture I have cropped to a better composition.

Very nice country scene. The colors are a bit over saturated though. Have tried to correct that with a WS. Hope you like it.

Je weet ik ben gecharmeerd van je kleuren pallet. Ik vind deze dan ook zeer mooi, prachtige diepte, goede verdeling van de compositie, kortom erg goed werk.
Maar eerlijkheid gebied ook te zeggen dat ik de WS van Avishek erg goed vindt, door enkel wat contrast te gebruiken.

Very good landscape picture with very good colours and very good composition, I think that you should take less sky because they are not interesting as the fields bellow.

I like the glow in the foreground colors. The sky is so pale compared to it. Nice pic.

For this image, I'd reduce colour saturation in the foreground, & increase contrast slightly. Still a great landscape.

Un très beau paysage John. J'aime cette étendue de petites collines aux couleurs variées.
Le ciel menaçant ajoute un plus à la composition.

Yes, I agree with Chris the colours are some oversatureted, but the picture is beautiful.

Stemmige Ardennen plaat, John. De compositie laat een enorme diepte zien, mooi. De grafiche patronen zijn prachtig...en ja de Ardennen...vaak regen. Ik vind het erg goed werk John en de workshop van Avishek laat zien dat er verder ook andere mooie dingen mee te doen zijn.

A great place for many hours hike & walking & photography,too,which you did it & creat this shot,this lovely shot from there.
I don't like to say about techniques in this beautiful shot,only : It's an EXCELLENT photograph.

La vue ici est trés jolie et l'endroit a l'air si sauvage que cela fait de cette image une prise trés interessante.

Well it looks like you pulled the optimum in colors and contrast out of this scene, given the drab weather setting. A quite pleasant array of natural lines and patterns, with a good depth all the way to the horizon. I think a bit of the sky could have been cropped. Very nice, John!

Het ziet er daar een mooi natuurlijk gebied uit. Jammer van het mindere weer (dat is wellicht de reden voor de saturatie? Die had iets minder gemogen). De compositie maakt echter veel goed. Bedankt voor dit mooie beel.

Strong green here with this beautiful view, the landscape and the curves on the horizon are very nice, I would also crop the sky just a bit, other than that very well seen.

I don't agree that the colors are over-saturated. I would like to see it with quite a bit of the sky cropped out, but the colors left just as they are.

mooi landschap John,moet er dit verlof toch ook eens naar toe trekken, werkelijk de moeite !!Mooie compositie hier, maar ik denk dat je wat teveel colors hebt gegeven, kijk naar het verdort gras,het is hier een beetje te rood, vindt je ook niet ? de ws is daarmee een verbetering vind ik..

Very nice colors and nice lines on the fields. It matches the sky very well and really brings focus to the ground for how strongly it stands out. Perhaps a little less sky would help but it does look very nice, though. It's very broad and very deep and very real. Feels kind of chilly, too. Well done.

Jammer genoeg ik kan niet alles halen...
Daarom heb ik voor deze gekozen. Zeer goede foto John! :-) U deed het opnieuw. Mooie colours stunning met prachtig uitzicht! Het weer, tja... maar omdat ik hou van wolken voor mij is het gewon meer dan goed. Ik vind die losse bomen, alsook die dikke bos zeer goed geplaatst. Zeer goed gedaan. :-)

Belle mise en valeur de cette belle région : des bois et des champs à perte de vue, un mosaïque de couleur. Finalement les couleurs sont à peine exagérée. C'est une région verte comme je les aime.

Very pleaseant landscape! Very peaceful and resting. About the photo I tnhink it's a good capture although the colors are a bit oversaturated. Reducing the saturation and applying the Clarify tool in the sky could bring another drama to the photo.

Great photo. I like the effect you did with the colours... oh wacht even, ik schakel even over van taal: mooi foto, het effect met de kleuren is heel geslaagd, het zijn haast kleuren zoals men die zou verwachten in Ierland. Ik denk alleen dat ik iets meer van de bovenkant zou hebben weggesneden, om een nog wijdsere blik te creeren, maar op zich gaat dit ook prima zo.

Hi John,

This is an impressive picture of the Hillock country. The view is leading our eyes to where the land meet the cloudy sky. The different tints of green are an extra to the composition. There is a good contrast between the colors. Well done, have a nice sunday.
