[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The pretty little lake in the heart of the equally pretty village of Lacelle in the Limousin region of central France. I understand the fishing here is quite good with both trout and carp. I hope to return one day - with my fishing tackle as well as my camera.

I wasn't particularly happy with the colours of the original, but when converted to sepia it seemed to come to life.

I'm usually not a fan of sepia but I can totally understand if the color version isn't up to your standards then changing it can help, I've done it several times before. I like the composition with the waters edge and the perfect reflection. Looks like a scene from a Novel.

Have a good day,

Mel

WOW Roberto, what striking and beautiful shot, well done, everything is super perfect, composition, position of view, exposure and reflections, simply brilliant, well done, thanks for sharing it with us and keep them coming, regards, Salas

Hi, Roberto, Fantastic one. Almost like an engraving. Fantastic reflection, and excellent compositional elements with the tall reeds in the foreground for depth. Beautiful, peaceful scene. Best, -Hugh

Love these kinds of 'postcards' tremendously...
I remember of finding them in the attic of my grandpa' house...

From Hungary, from Germany...
They smelled old photo paper and they were very beautiful...

Stay romantic, Roberto

Here is an interesting picture and then a sepia color gives a certain timelessness to this place of France, you say postcard? I say postcard...

Hi Roberto!Excellent photo.very nice reflection and composition.thanks for sharing.

Reaaly a good postcard!!!Sepia makes a good effect and I like the clarity and the reflections in the calm lake
Have a nice week

Hello Roberto
There is something more of this image than it calls the attention to me aside from the sepia toning; it is the perfect finish of the lights that causes that details in the shade are not lost. Well Done
Saludos,
Pepe

Very good choice of sepia which perfectly fits this kind of shot.
Moreover, the sharp reflection is a real plus.
