[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I chose a sepia photo today, to enhance the "traces of time" title, and because I feel it sometimes works really well with ruins. This photo was of course taken at the famous Acropolis, a place where I felt humble and small, thinking of the great civilisation that built it. With a mess of stone blocks lying around in the foreground, with a broken wall behind the columns, the columns are still standing with pride. I admit, I'm a history fanatic :-)

This monument is definitely photogenic no matter if the photo is colored or b&w and whichever angle the photographer uses. You chose an excellent angle and the sharpness is excellent. Regards Stella

Hola Gerd, muy bella foto donde captas a la perfección los detalles de las ruinas de acrópolis... como me gustaría filosofar allí!!!

Gracias por la imagen.

yeah, excellent pov and composition showing the "mess" of stones! :-)
terrific idea with the sepia, could be an old print from the 1930s.

Gerd good evening
I will agree with Stella as the theme itself is an "all weather" one. Summer or winter, colour or sepia i is the best model to capture, and you have done it very well
