Horse breath

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Old Montreal is a little of Vieille France in the midst of North America, or so the city's promotional material goes. In summer, these "calèches" carry tourists on tours of the old cobbled streets and newer asphalted routes, much to the annoyance of some car drivers.
This picture was made in winter 2003, where despite near freezing temperatures, a few brave drivers were obviously still hopeful of finding some determined tourists.
I do not process my own pictures but work in manual mode. |

nice capture Valeisha...it is possible to see the breath coming from the nosestrils of the horse...
you should consider to PP your pics as it lacks sharpness and some adjustments...

The lighting is great and the action really brings the viewer into the picture. The theme of being cold is something we can all relate to and it is easy to form an emotional respose to this photo. You could make the photo a bit stronger by croping the people on the right edge out nd drawing the viewers attention a bit more to the horse and the central theme.
