can't really remember name of the lake anymore since been to too many lakes while in New Zealand.
hardly to find a spot where you can't take a nice picture in South Island. air and water quality probably one of the highest in the world too. Scenery in South Island too beautiful to describe. it doesn't make you feel in the earth sometimes but paradise.

Hi there! This is a very nice place! South Island must be an incredible place, as you say. What I don't like in this photo is that it has too much empty space and uniformity of colours. I would suggest doing a tighter cropping of the mountains, with some water and some sky, and increasing the contrast (a simple S-shaped curve increases the contrast and renders different shades of blue for water, mountains and sky). That way the magnificence of these mountains could be highlighted.
