Yosemite Valley is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. This was sunrise driving into the park. This shot is a panoramic of Three images stitched together using photomerge and gradient masks.

This manages to be a captivating sunrise without any dramatic color. Part of that is the setting, of course; the layers of cloud and pastel work well here where they would not elsewhere.

I like your guidelines in your intro, too!

I concur, Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places that I've also seen. A panoramic shot is a good way to display this remarkable site, and yours is nicely composed, and seamlessly stitched from separate images.
