Photographer’s Note
taken in rochester cathedral crypt. i loved the continuous arches in the ceiling and also the lighting
handheld, with a slow shutterspeed to get all the light around without resorting to using a flash

Hello, Jennifer.
I must say that I feel a bit wary about making comments on a picture taken by someone making a career/profession out of photography. However, I also must say that I love this one: in fact, I always really like pictures of this type of old buildings and in low light. You have done very well indeed and there is surprisingly little noise considering that you were up at ISO 800. You must have a steady hand too!
But I've done a little simple workshop in Photoshop Elements 2 which is pretty old-hat compared to the CS2 which you have. I've just increased the sharpness a little and also the contrast - see what you think. I hope you're not offended by my playing about with what is a very nice picture indeed.
Kind Regards,
John.
