Santa Maria da Vitória na Batalha, more commonly known as the Batalha Monastery, is a Dominican monastery in the Portuguese town of Batalha, in the District of Leiria, Portugal. It is one of the best and original examples of Late Gothic architecture in Portugal, intermingled with the Manueline style. It amazes the onlooker with its profusion of gables, spires, pinnacles and buttresses. It has become a symbol of national pride.

This is a great architecture with all the perfect elements of Gothic. Shade/light contrast is well set by the conversion into B&W. Cheers...

É sem dúvida um dos mais bonitos monumentos portugueses mas por vezes parece-me destinado ao desprezo das autoridades, governamentais ou eclesiásticas não interessa, por motivo da má apresentação que tem. Veja-se o exemplo do edifício que está à esquerda. Gosto do PDV mas já gosto menos do P&B.

Bonita composição em B&W,capturou muito bem esta arquitetura Gothic, ficou bem este ceu criou um bonito contraste em tons de cinza. Trabalho bem realizado.
