A view of the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome. The escalotor had unusual coloured advertising panels (Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks). I like the repetition of the red & white flags, which also appear to be a logo for the local baseball team? From wikipedia:
"The Fukuoka Dome (福岡ドーム, Fukuoka Dōmu?) is a baseball field located in Fukuoka, Japan. The stadium serves as the headquarters of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. In 2005, Yahoo! Japan, one of SoftBank's subsidiaries, bought the stadium's naming rights, and thus renamed it Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome.
Built in 1993, the stadium can accommodate 52,000 spectators and was Japan's first dome with a retractable roof.
Famous musicians such as Frank Sinatra, Madonna, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Billy Joel have done large-scale concerts at the Fukuoka Dome."

Excellent colours in the picture. The detail of the paintings in the electric stairs is lovely (and horrible)

It is very interesting to see an escalator totally exposed to the weather. Not very usual, I think. I like your composition as all the elements match the rule of the thirds. I believe you gave it a thought. Well done.

A very good composition of this modernistic building. I like the pov looking up the escalator and the inclusion of the food stalls which add a nice touch of vitality and make a good contrast with the curving lines of the stadium. Good colours and sharpness.

This is a good frame with a most effective lead-in!
Super colours and sharp fine details, great lines...
The dynamics in the image contrast well with the laid-back stall keepers!

really very unusual the exterior as the vicinity of the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome. The vendors as the visitors, add a nice stroke of your capture. The contrasted colours are well captured as the details and the clarity of the scenery.Informative your note.Well done Chris.

This reminds me a little bit of the Colliseum in Rome, the way the building cruves around and the fact that it is so high. The stairs or excalator are a nice touch too, because they lead our eyes right up toward the building, while the people in the foreground give this some scale. Well done!

Hi, my dear friend!
It is very interesting photo about architecture. I never been in Japan. But I hope... Nice colours and good light. I like your perspective.

a very colourful capture with that blues sky, several reds, the green and metal by the stairway. Baseball, I know that they tried football and others but baseball was not known by me. Thanks for that.

Hi Chris. With those escalators you have another good representation of graphism. I think your last shot was a better candidate for b/w and with all of the great colors here Iím glad you left it color. It's a more complete shot having the people too. tfs Chris.

Very good compostion, very interesting sccne with unusal red colors. The outside escalator is really amazing.

As usual an informative note accompanying the image. There are vestiges of American culture on display ó the game itself, the outside hawkers. But then an escalator is not something one sees in outdoor stadium in the United States. And, of course, one should never be surprised by the retractable cover from the Japanese who have a penchant for cutting edge technology. I am impressed by your facility with Japanese

A good daily life shot with the interesting and colorful electric stairs. Baseball is the most popular sport in my country, also is popular in Japan, we have more than 40 players from Dominican Republic playing in the USA. Very well captured, good colors and sharpness. Well done.
