Photographer’s Note
I took this shot on a lovely autumn day in Pollok Country Park.
Pollok Country Park is a area of woodland near Glasgow. It is Glasgows largest park and won the Best Park in Britain Award 2007.
The grounds also play host to the famous Burrell Collection. This is a museum that shows Sir William Burrell's art collection. Like all of Galsgows museum the Burrell Collection is free entry and a great way to spend a rainy day.

Hello, Scott.
This is an excellent shot - beautiful autumn colours and I like the reflections on the water too.
Very well done indeed!
Just one little comment - I see that you took this with an ISO setting of 1000. You have, as a result of this, got a bit of "noise" (or "grain" if it were a film picture). It is most noticeable on the near trees. You had plenty of light so you could have reduced the ISO setting to 200 or so and still you would have been able to use a fairly fast shutter speed of about 1/100 sec.
Best Wishes,
John.

Hi Scott,
nice inspiration with beautiful colours. I like the framing very much and also the reflections on the water's surface. The sharpness is very good. Excellent work.

Hello Scott!
A good view between the trees at the coloured leaf. Nice perspective!

Hi Scott,
This is nice composition but the low resolution weakens the impact. I'm sure you will keep on trying as there's only improvement ahead
My regards

Hi Scott,
This is a good composition, as the two tree trunks create a natural border in the image....my eyes are drawn through the trunks onto the lovely autumn colours of the trees beyond. The arched wall of the lake also plays a vital part in the image. I agree with tyro....watch out for ISO setting...the higher it is, the grainier the result will be. It is generally used in low light situations, so that shutter speed can be increased without sacrificing aperture settings. Good image all the same.
Cheers Grant

Hi Scott,
Nice composition, Ik like the reflections, perhaps you could have done more with them by changing POV
I agree with John. Under these light circumstances you should use 100-200 ASA as standard sensitivity setting.
