Photographer’s Note
Founded in 14 cen./1375-1377/.Builded from St. kniaz Lazar, killed in the Kosovo Pole battle between serbians and the ottoman turks in 27.06.1389 year.The portrait of the kniaz and his family /kniaginia Milica and sons Vuk and Stephan/ is on the frescoe in the monastery church.

I enjoyed your monastery photo series a lot. POV is excellent and you`ve captured all the details. The tree completes the scene. I am curious about the inside frescoe you mentioned too, if only we could be able to see them as well.
