The interior of an expensive hotel in downtown Fukuoka not far from the Yahoo Dome. The lamps reminded me inverted yellow mushrooms. They are suspended from a high ceiling.

A most unusual presentation but striking and very unique. The colors, the shapes, and the detail make this an excellent composition. Great shot and TFS. Gerald

they look more like laterns than lamps. Really nice. I like your shot. Nice composition and very beautiful colours.
Have a nice week,

It looks like spinning with the lines on the wall increasing that effect. Yeah, these lamps remind mushroom or little umbrellas.
Have a nice day

Long time, no see. Hope everything is Okay with you.
That is a nice decoration. Probably the hotel is as good as the decoration. And the photo makes it even better. Nice warm colours and very good sharpness. Well done.

Nice shot Chris;
Although it's been awhile since I last stopped by your gallery (appologies ;-), this seems like a bit of departure from your usual landscape type shots. Sharp detail, natural color and good levels. I may have been tempted to present this one upsode down to REALLY get people guessing what they're looking at.
All the best Chris,

Now this is something different from you, with a kind of abstract flair. The series of lamps are beautiful individually, and when you take them together they are even better because of the pattern they form. Nicely done!

They really looks like mushrooms, good shot with nice yellow tones and captured from a low-up POV. Interesting composition, very well captured and framed.

Very nice and tidy compo, with a touch of abstract. It's very attractive geometric and colour wise.

Hi Chris, I like this modernity a lot. The bright "mushrooms" have an Oriental look about them. Well angled to make it as you have. TFS. Murray.

A very unusual and striking post. Good handling of light to show us the queerly shaped lamps...they do form a nice pattern tx to your POV. Good work!

I love the yellow/orange light here, and the graphic details that you capture in your cadrage. This is a daring subject, not maybe too attractive for many people, but the overall result is lovely. The shapes remind of Korkut's (bostankorkulugu) "Chintemani" photo.
