They are called 'kuti' Janos, which is the Pali word for a hut. These two look very atmospheric and ancient. The one on the left looks particularly interesting and in the Lanna style. There is a great sense of crumbling and decay. The group of relaxing monks gives the picture some vitality . I like the decoration of the left kuti very much. They are probably over a hundred years old, possible more, and , typical of S.E Asia, they seem to be being neglected. It would have been nice to know which temple they are in, I would like to visit them on my next trip to LP. Do you remember? regards kevin

Ez egyszerűen elragadó. A fából készült lábasházak (Vásárhelyen így mondják, nálunk meg sehogy), a díszes timpanon (OK, ott ennek is biztosan más neve van), a reneszánsz feljáró (ott nyilván nem reneszánsz és nem feljáró), a csevegő szerzetesek (ez legalább stimmel - gondolom) valami sajátos derűt sugároznak. Kezdek irigykedni rájuk.
