Photographer’s Note

small, slight of build, a bit shy, he has left his home in the Terai (Maoist stronghold), to live with his Uncle. His family men are barbers, and so shall he be. Children often work in Nepal. Children his age are taken by the Maoists, to serve in their army, make bombs, be lookouts, fire weapons. His father has since died, so now his home is permanent with his Uncle.

Nice portrait. I like how you have framed this photo with the subject off center. The man wearing red in the background is a bit distracting. Overall it is a very nice photo. TFS
