Photographer’s Note

Bangkok is a city full of contrasts. When I came the first time I didn't expect places like this one, places like in Paris or NYC.

I allways enjoyed Bangkok, even if I felt stressed some days by all that chaos and the smog in the air.

I allways like to come back.

A very nice capture, just at the right moment, when the girl is looking at the model in the poster. You had a very good eye, and the picture is very clean.
I don't know if I would have preferred a longitudinal view. Forse potrei anche scrivere in Italiano... Ciao Stefano

Strong and excellent mood, in this red light... That's urban, modern and simply cool. Impressive sharpness too (I mean on CHANEL letters).

Excellent photo. I really like the surrealistic feel given by the orangy light. I think that crpping it on the right and bottom like Seb did makes it look eveb better.

Well seen image including the double reflections. I like the way the girls head is turned towards the picture - helps to have glasses. A crop, like Sebastien has shown you, makes it more dynamic as the space on the right is unecessary.

Hallo Nino. Chanel, ein Model, eine Schattenfigur und eine perfekte Spiegelung. Das sind die Zutaten für dieses überzeugende Bild. Aber das Photo lebt auch durch die farbliche Komponente und die starke graphische Betonung. Photographisch ist das Bild ein Blickfang. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Hi , Nino, this one is very graphic, very different from your other stuff. The girl in the poster and the real girl set up a kind on tension between them and it is all reinforced by the reflections. Even the word 'Chanel' seems like a comment on the action. regards kevin

Belle photo de cette affiche et de cette femme qui passe, leurs reflet fait penser qu' elle sont toute les deux au meme endroit, sur l' affiche ou qui passent.Vraiment un bel effet, un trompe l' oeil très réussit.Jolies couleurs et très bon éclairage. Amitiés Thomas

Ich liebe Bangkok genauso wie Du aber ich habe kein sogutes Auge für city-oder streetphotography wie DU.Vielleicht habe ich aber auch keine Lust in einer 10 Millionen Metropole meine Kamera auszupacken.
Dein Original ist viel besser als die "cropped version"Du Hast das toll gesehen und perfekt eingefangen.I ch glaube die Thai Frau denkt gerade"sieht ja nett aus ,würde ich aber nie anziehen".....Ein Tolles Bild Nino mit wunderschönen Orangetönen.
Myanmar?????Ja ich denke ich werde es besuchen,wenn die Verhältnisse es erlauben und die Ausgangssperre im Januar aufgehoben ist.Ich vertrete gerade meine Meinung dazu im Forum.

magical colors! the mid and deep tones evoke warmth and energy; the deep accents adds charm and richness to the compo.
yes, there are Paris boutiques in asian cities, and to say the least, european signature items are cheaper and maybe for most affordable than in Paris itself....:) TFS, nino.

Nino,

I like how the mannequin stands there all laissez faire and confident, while the shopper is closed off, with crossed arms and looking apprehensive. You have here perfectly the emotional/personality contrast with the obvious photographic one.
