Photographer’s Note

This place is the scenic spot near to Shangrila, Yunnan. As the name suggests, it's formed by limestone, white in colour. And there are many pools filled with crystal clear water. It took us 3 hours to go there from our hotel, but it worths.

Very nice landscape, a bit surreal with magnificent rendering of the sky. The transparent green pond is awesome.

Hi Pucca. Superb shot and the colours are excellent. I love the way the water meanders into the shot from the bottom right. Very impressive shot.

I have a question. I also have a Mamiya 7 (not 7 ii) but I've never found anywhere that can scan negs to my satisfaction. How do you scan yours?

Hi Pucca,
I think the name of the place is Baishuitai. Its about 3 hours from Shangri-la, near Haba snow mountain.
You were there on the very right moment.
