Tempted by my beautiful carrots ? Photo

Photographer’s Note

In the big weekly market of Nevsehir in Cappadocia, frequented by all the farmers of the surrounding villages as well as the city dwellers, everyone was smiling at us, who came to shoot as many photos as we could, and we heard from all sides "hos geldiniz !" ("Welcome" !) ;

This carrot seller was posing with an irresistible smile under a large, red umbrella that made his face glowing and appear almost as orange as his vegetables. Not so easy to manage in pp... (but oochappan was there to give me some lesson that I'll have to apply and remember - still learning !)

bonjour Catherine,
les carottes, ça rend aimable et ça donne les fesses roses, mais en plus ça donne un teint orangé quand on pose à côté... et c'est accentué par la saturation. les couleurs flashent et je trouve que on pourrait désaturer un peu cette photo, mais sinon elle est sympa avec le sourire agréable de ce jeune homme, et cette ambiance de marché

Bonjour Catherine,
J'aime bien l'attitude de cet homme qui semble jouer avec grand plaisir avec la camera!
Effectivement, son visage est encore bien orange, mais difficile de faire autrement en étant aussi près des carottes et sous un parasol rouge!!! Il est possible de jouer sur le contrôle des couleurs sous Photoshop ou équivalent avec un calque. Je vais essayer qq chose en WS.

Indeed the carrots blend so well with this fellow's colour tones. I like the interesting background, with shoppers casually inspecting the goods. This fellow certainly has a rather coy expression. An irresistible pose to capture. Well done...later.

Belle photo de cet adolescent qui vend ces carotte sur un marcher,beau portrait avec ces carrottes qui lui donnent un beau tain, car c' est bien connu que la carotaine donne un beau tain pour le bronzage.Beau le flou a l' arrière qui fait bien ressortire ce personnage a l' avant. Amitiés Thomas
