Photographer’s Note

Flying over Moorea Lagoon to Faaa Airport of Tahiti. I used a polarizing filter to make emerald green of a lagoon deeper. Moorea is located only 15km from Tahiti in the French Polynesia Islands.
Tech: Cropped, levels adjusted, color adjusted, unsharp mask, added frame, and neat image.

Hi Hisashi,
An interesting shot for me since I have read quite a bit about the ecology of the Moorea Lagoon. I like the composition with the planes propeller included in the shot, fitting in perfectly with the sweeping ark of the fringing reef. The colour is stunning - both land and sea - and it is certainly somewhere I would like to visit one day.
