Scavenger Hunt Image #1 (next)
I decided to take on the scavenger hunt not as a random collection of pictures, but as a real photographic project. With self-imposed rules added to the guideline: unique location (Louvre museum), composite images (at least one of the shots has been taken with the hunt items in mind, the second one - if needed - coming from my personal archives), no alteration except basic tinkering and barrel correction...
13 days, 12 photos to upload: quite challenging, isn't it?
Fist entry: a downsized marble copy of one of Michelangelo's Slaves in a room decorated under Napoleon III's reign (1850-1870)... and its "natural" companion, a selected glance at a large mosaic fragment from ancient Rome (circa 500-400 BC).
More to come tomorrow... |

Well Dominique, you're just amazing!
Because I was on holiday last month, I needed time to discover all the new photographers on TE, and I just found number 12 of the Scavenger Hunt and got all the way back with the "previous" link. I must say I just love your work! Very attractive composition, beautiful collage work, it's really good!
I just don't understand why you've got so little critiques or comments. This is really unusual and nice to see.
Good ideas, good observations, good post-processing, good photographer!
Amicalement - Viviane
