Photographer’s Note
I was taking some photographs of the sunrise at Tynemouth and two men were also watching it. I thought a silhouette may be worth trying - let me know what you think. There is some burnout of the sun and I have cropped the photo slightly

Hello, Brian.
I rather like this shot. The colours and reflections are superbly good and I love those streaks across the sky.
I think the inclusion of those two figures helps a lot - without them, the foreground would be very bare. The two lights on the ends of the sea-walls at either side also help to lead the eye into the focal point of the sunrise.
Very good!
Kind Regards,
John.

Good to see you posting again Brian! It's a wonderful sunset image you have here and the inclusion of the silhouettes works perfectly. I like the way you have used the twin piers to lead the eye to the sun. I certainly would not be troubled by the burn-out you mention; I defy anyone not to have it. The reflected light in the sea and the small clouds and jet trail(s) top off an excellent image.

Sunrises are beautiful aren't they?
The silhouettes of the two men look nice, but that's also because of the silhouette of the lighthouse (?) a bit ahead in the distance. The men and lighthouse make just a good balance together.
