Photographer’s Note
Maybe you remember Nyoman from my gallery. He is still my favorite model. When I came the first time to Bali I saw him doing his job on the market in Ubud. When I asked him to take some pics of him he agreed. I was astonished that he didn't pose like many people do. He was so natural and didn't care for the camera. When I came back a year later I went to his place again and we met two or three times after his work. One afternoon after work he took me to his home and to the family temple. This was a certain honour for me.
When I came back this year we spent some time together. We went to the bird park, he stopped for me at a cremation and we went to his home again.
He lives with his wife and two children with his parents and his brother with family. Even an old lady, I guess his grandma lives at that place. Certainly there are several birds and even 2 dogs.
Here you see him 500 meters away from his home in a green area in the hills. A very beautiful place. I'll post a ws to get another idea of this place.

Maybe I'll go back to Bali end of December. Certainly I'll meet Noman again.
Here you can see some pics of him I posted before.

number 4 is my favorite portrait of him... but he looks more charismatic in this one amongst them all... the jungle like surrounding is a perfect background... a vertical format could have looked good too...
all the best

He seems a natural in front of the camera Nino with this pose he has here. It's also nice to see a large family living together under one roof, something that seems lacking in England.

Hi Nino!

Hi Nino,
You are quite right about Nyoman having such a natural pose. This is a relaxed and refreshing scene, with just him and the surrounding verdant woods. I like his demeanour, the lighting and contrasting hues. As usual, your cropping is expertly performed. Cheers.
John
