Evening can be long in June there. We could stand at waterside for hours and never get tired of the mighty view...
Infos from www.tellus.no: "Hardanger is a name that Norwegians associate with blossom and fruit. In truth the orchard of Norway! Who would believe that you can grow apples, pears, plums and even cherries at 60° north?
A mild and pleasant climate and clear, light summer nights are ideal for our guests, as well as for fruit and berries.
In the centre of the district is the Hardangerfjord. High up you enter the Hardangervidda National Park and two of Norway’s largest glaciers, Folgefonna and Hardangerjøkulen From mountains and glaciers the majestic waterfalls foam down into the queen of fjords."

What can I say? Flowers and landscapes you do best. This is another prime example. Lovely composition and the reflection, as always with your shots, makes it pop. Very, very nice!

Believe or not, Vancouver bay is quite similar to this. Beautiful landscape

Classic view of the fjords! The 4/3 ratio of digital images makes the difference between landscape and portrait format very small and I don't know if that's always such a good thing. This fjord is wide and definitely looks best in the landscape format (it might work even better as a panorama). Placing the horizon in the middle of the frame and leaving all that water (which doesn't really contribute much to the image) in the lower half of the frame creates a conflict between content and format: dramatic content - static composition. Crop from the bottom of the frame to experiment with format.

I spent a few years in this beautiful country. This excellent composition with the lovely colors brings it back to me.

I think this is another case of not being there at the best time (or place, as we have discussed :)). It's a lovely composition, but I would like some more colour satuaration which you could only achieve at sunset.

I think this is a beautiful spot, but a difficult shot to make. I agree with the others that a wider angle, or panoramic shot was called for here. I think the colors are very natural looking and especially like the clouds. I just wish I could see more.

When the last year I've been in the Fjords, the first time that I was in the middle of one by boat, I impressed with so beauty and I took about 100 shots of it. At this time I understood that is not easy to capture this wonderful landscape in a picture, because I was not happy with my work. So, I want to say that I like a lot how you have gotten that Fjord because it looks very nice.

You should try and visit Iceland. You would love it. It is a photographer's and naturelover's paradise, and not unlike Norway when it comes to finding this kind of motive. A pity you don't see your points. You deserve them.

I think cherries require the most cold of all, I had the rest of your mentioned fruit in my yard in s. california......USA. Norway seems to be the kind of place I always searched for in the USA to camp in. Beautiful real nature!!!!

This is absolutely lovely. The reflection in the water, the colors, the composition. Generally, a photo cut in the middle like this loses something, but, in this case, it succeeds wonderfully.
