Photographer’s Note

It sometimes take an outsiders eye to make insiders aware again of the beauty of the real colours of their own environment. Maybe they are so used to see it that some have forgotten ?

You wonder to see so many men sitting outside in the shade while mother is already preparing the food to eat only in the evening during the Ramadan. Maybe their motor is running on slow motion with an empty stomach and they take it easy during the day ?

Nice work Henk, I suppose reading the news is one way of negating the rumbling stomach. Lovely dappled light and excellent details.I like the tight composition in which the man in white fits snuggly left of center. Regards. Klaudio.

Very nice image with lots of interesting detail, I would have prefered the lamp post to be positioned over to the right a little, away from the centre of the image, but maybe the gutter wasnt very attractive. Nice piece of observation!

Somehow I see this as much different one in your gallery...
