[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Kelvingrove is a very special museum.A world class museum in a truly magnificent building,bringing an amazing range of art,history and nature to life.First opened in 1901.In 2003 Glasgow city Counsul embarked on a three year,27.9 million sterling restoration project to return Kelvingrove's magnificent Victorian interior to its original splendor.The museum re-opened to an enthusiastic public in July 2006.
The collection is divided into four departments.Natural History and Zoology which houses a range of displays on local flora and fauna and exihibits on fossils,minerals insects;Archaeology which ranges from Egyptian artefacts to the Scott Collection of Euroean Arms and Armour;Decorative Art housing collections of ceremics,glass furniture, silver ware,costumes textiles and metal work;and Fine Art which comprises of works by Monet,Degas,Rubens,VanGogh,Matisse,Courbet,Pissaro, Salvador Dali and Whistler as well as works by Scottish Artists such as Allan Ramsay,Horatio McCulloch and Francis Cadell.

Bu muhteşem müze ziyaretimiz gezimizin kreması oldu.Programda olmadığı halde,Glasgow şehir turunu yarım saat erken bitiren yerel tura itiraz ederek,bizi müzenin önünde bıraktırıp 3 saat sonra tekrar almalarını sağlayan, gezi boyu çok iyi anlaştığımız, konuya son derece hakim, bilgili Rehberimizin sayesinde içeriği ve ihtişamı ile gözkamaştıran ,Londra dışında enfazla ziyaretçi alan bu müzeyi görmeden dönseydik gezimiz gerçekten eksik kalırmış.Teşekkürler Sayın Mebrure Uçkun hanıma.

Great shot, showing us these beautiful architectural details. I like your decision to cut the distraction of the ground level and concentrate on just the upper walls and ceiling. Wonderful patterns and the detail that is visible allows us to experience it almost as if we were there. Well done!

Iskotçya'dan yine muhtesem bir fotograf sunmussunuz. Binanin ikinci katindan çektiginiz için hatlar (sütunlar) daha düzgün ve parallel çikmislar. Bol malumatli not için de tesekkürler. Edinburgh'u biraz daha iyi bilirim, onun için Glasgow'nun resimlerin görmekle ve oralari tarihlerini oögrenmekle seviniyorum.
