Photographer’s Note
A pig is being prepared for dinner. During the funeral season in Toraja, hundreds of pigs and buffalos get slaughtered as offerings to the deceased. Of course, the offering also serves a practical purpose: to feed the numerous guests attending the funeral ceremonies.
