The loon is one of canadian's favorite icon (after the maple leaf, maybe). Its presence on every 1 dollar coin reminds you at every moment the wilderness of the country.

This shot was taken on a canoe-portage trip in the Algonquin provincial park. At night, hearing their song answering the screams of the wolves makes you feel so little!

I saw a lot of these loons when I was camping & canoeing in the Gunflint Trail area of Northern Minnesota which borders Ontario I think. A nice capture. What is your focal length? Regards. Latiff from Malaysia.
