Hi Philip;

Great colors, rich colors and sharp detail. But the horizon is a bit crooked, and needs to be rotated clockwise (not meanign to nit-pick. You can see it in the distance from the tall tree on the left distance to the border vs. the reflection in the water to the border.

Click this link for an easy fix that I use. The technique on that link also works by drawing the line from the tip of the tall tree to the tip of the tall tree in the reflection.

Wow, yes nature is smiling on you.

The stillness of the lake is excellent allowing you to take advantage.I also like the lone log floating...

It seems a bit oversharpened in the first line of trees. But otherwise a strong shot.

Hello Philip! Very good work here with the HDR. The colors and sharpness are quite good. The only thing I think is missing is some foreground element to anchor the composition. But it's very good as is.

Yes, I really enjoy it! I like your picture very much! The colors and contrasts are fine, just be aware of the burnt whites in the clouds and the total loss of details there.

Your picture pleases to me especially by its composition. You have well equilibrated the three spaces (water, terrain, sky) and the diagonal line of the border that leads into the picture is great.

Hello Philip. The different colours of the grass in the middle is very nice. The grass create an excellent division between the real sky and the reflections. The reflections alone are strong and very atractive. Nicely composed image and lovely place to show us. Thanks.

The use of a graduated filter has allowed for an even exposure in the sky which in turn makes the greens in the middle of this image to really pop out.

Hi, Philip. The reflections are very beautiful and make an excellent foreground. The colours on the other side of the lake are really amazing: I really like the orange and yellow tones that contrast well with the overall colours. The hills are a good background with different tones of green. A very beautiful place.

Thanks for your critics to my newly started serie with 10 shots from Romania. Thanks that you have visited my site and I could get a notice of you ! Otherwise I would miss this (and many other) wonderfull shots.
Specially that one is really great. Very nice pov and great compo; wonderfull colors and great reflections.
Wthout hesitating I could even say that the lower part of the picture ise even better than the upper part !
I have tried a WS and posted. Look at it, and let me know what you are thinking about.

That's a GREAT shot! :) The colors are beautiful and amazing, the reflection of the landscape in the lake is almost perfect! I like a lot the floating piece of wood which breaks the symmetry between the sky and its reflection! Very good job!
