Vidareidi is the northern most village in the Faroe Islands on the islands of Vidoy.

The famous Faroese poet Christian Matras was born in Vidareidi in 1900.

Hi Khatija. Incredible atmosphere in this panorama.The brooding sky has so much energy to it . The light on that cloud shrouding the hill and touching the surface of the water is marvelous.You have captured a poetic moment and it is no wonder that a place like this nurtured a poet. regards. This is a beautiful scene! The clouds and fog look so good. The lighting on the grass is beautiful. I really like the little church. This looks like a little piece of heaven :) I would love to go there!

Your photo is great!~I like the darkness that seems to lay over the scene. The light on the waves on the right and in the clouds is supperb.
