I think it's about time someone commented on either of the two versions of this photo, Elizabeth ;-) This re-post is much better; the horizontal cropping does so much more justice to the coastal landscape, the colors and contrast are really good, and in this version you also get a nice composition with the way the shoreline curves through the scene, and with the building in the upper right corner. Good shot.

There's something special about California's coast, and you captured it very well. The colors of the sea, the hills and the sky are very natural.
