Photographer’s Note

Hi,
This was taken in July when I saw these people planting paddy saplings in the field. There are two ways to cultivate paddy. one is to directly saw the seeds in the ploughed and prepared field or to replant the saplings sown elsewhere.Here the farmers follow both the methods. In one of my posts i have shown you the picture of a farmer sowing seeds Beginning of a new life. , and today i am posting the picture of replanting saplings.
The photo was cropped and slight adjustments done to the colours in Photoshop.

very good daily life shot which says something about our agriculture and labour... it arises nostalgic feelings of chidhood for me! nice shot...
(posted a w/s. brgihtness/contrast and little saturation will be more effective)

nice to meet you and Thanks for your warm words on my recent simple photo.
You know,The rice fields and the poeple and its atmosphere are one of my favorites fields,I found yours here very good with a dynamism that has a smell of life with those women.well captured and a good composed shot,too.I will add this to a theme in this motif,hope you liked it,also some of your photo in this subject will add,too.

This is a wonderful daily life scenery well recorded!
The importance of the activity you depict can hardly be assessed as millions of lives depend on the rice...
And the colour of fresh rice is awesome!
