Photographer’s Note

It was a very hot day in Norway, yes I was surprised, Norway can be very hot :-) and after visit a fresh glacier sited in Fjærland, village with only 300 habitants, we just find this incredible scene... Norway is really an impressive country full of beautiful and dramatic landscapes for make happy anyone who like to take shots.

I'm absolutely a "huge" Norway fan! And your lovely picture reminds me great moments...
Nice shot but I wish you had cropped out the very first left part, just right of the little tree, it looks a bit messy there.

Beautiful composition as always. It is hard to manage midday light shots but you pulled it off with excelent colors and constrast.

didn't know norway is such a beautiful country,remind me a bit of new-zealand. The boat that's located between the reflections + the small houses on the left makes it a good composition.

Beautiful shot, it looks almost like a fantasy land. Agree with Porteplume about a slight crop on the right, but apart from that it's a great composition and perfect exposure.

By the way, did you use Neat Image on this? It almost looks too smooth to be true.

Lovely picture. I agree that a bit more cropping on the left would help some, but in the end, it is just a great picture as is.

Really great shot of a very different and gorgoues landscape we do not see at this part of the world.
Personally I think that I would have cropped the sky a little bit above the right peak(to bring the main object: the boat and it's reflection to the center of the image) and the left as was mentioned before! ;)

Very, very nice. such a beautiful and tranquil setting, and you have caught it very well. As alternatives, not improvements, I would like to see a similar shot aiming slightly lower, so there is even more foreground, and slightly less sky. To do that one however, may require you to find a slightly hire vantage point. Also, I would love to see this in wider angle, especially showing more to the right of the frame. Again, these are alternatives, not improvements. This shot is great as it is.

I was in Norway last July and yes, it was hot too! I loved the nature there, the landscapes are incredible, and this shot really gives the feeling of the place. Thanks for reminding me this wonderful place!
