Photographer’s Note
The trek from Landmannalaugar to Porsmork, known as the hot spring road, seems destined to be recognised one day as one of the great walks of the world. In higgh season the trek can be completed in three or four days by anyone in reasonable physical condition.
This photo is from the second stage, from Hrafntinnusker hut to Alftavatn hut. The landscape is always so amazing around you!

Bonjour Matteo.
Photo remarquable d'un paysage extraordinaire par son relief et ses couleurs mises en valeur par le ciel nuageux.
Remarkable photo of an extraordinary landscape by its relief and its colors highlighted by the cloudy sky.

Hello Matteo. What an incredible, other-worldly landscape. I like the composition with that little patch of snow caught in the valley in the foreground. The various colours are superb, and the clarity is excellent from your FZ50. I love to see the shadows of clouds on the landscape. A marvellous shot from this amazing land.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Matteo,
I did the same trek this summer (although we stayed off the trails and away from the huts as much as possible). So, it is great to see another photographers angle on this world-class trek. I like this scenary a lot. We had sunshine most of the way. So it is an entirely different mood from what I experienced.
As for the photo itself, I really enjoy the sharpness and colours throughout. (The polarizer did a lot of good here!) Beautiful display of the many geologically varieties found in Iceland.
Keep posting from your trip!
Best,
Mikkel

Ciao Matteo ,
bellissimo panorama molto ben costruito interessante il gioco di luci che inzia con un ombra e si alternano luci ed ombre , il cielo minaccioso completa l'opera ben fatto

Hi Matteo,
I can only agree with you. This is an amazing landscape. The colours along this route is so beautiful, especially from Landmannalaugar to Hrafntinnusker.
Shot well taken, with the light as a vitale role for this picture.
Have a nice day,
Christian
