Crystal Mill Photo

Photographer’s Note

I am surprised there almost no photos of this place, especially because it's one of the most photographed places in Colorado. Well, here we go :)
This is an old (more than 100 years) air compressor station that was used with conjunction with several mills. It's located near by Marble City. In fact, this mill is a part of a small ghost town called Crystal City. It's impossible to get there on a regular car, and high clearance 4WD is required.
This photo was taken after a huge rain, as you see. Actually it was taken during the rain. Workshops are welcome :)

I can hardly believe this is a photo. It is like a beautiful painting. Incredible composition with that great structure and the small waterfall in the perfect spots. I love those misty, muted colors and the mountains in the back. This is just wonderful! WOW!! Kind regards,

Ths is one of those rare photos that makes me wish I was there.

Excellent cotrast of colors: the reds of the rocks and buildings versus the greenery of the forrest. I think the rain helpe you to enhance the mood/tone of the picture. Well done.
