Photographers Note
This shot is taken from within the ferry going to Prince's Islands. This was the first stop, the Kinali Island. The weather was not so favorable for swimming but people didn't care. They were as if saying: "Soon the cold, dark winter days will come. SO now let's swim whatever the weather while we can." :))
from Wikipedia:
Kınalıada (meaning "Henna Island", after the colour of its earth) is the nearest island to the European side of Istanbul (about an hour by ferry from Sirkeci). This therefore was the island most used as a place of exile in Byzantine times (the most notable exile being the former emperor Romanos IV Diogenes, after the Battle of Manzikert, 1071). This is one of the least forested islands, and the land has a reddish colour from the iron and copper that has been mined here.

Dear Sayat
This is a neat picture with the diagonal shoreline..lots of people, lots of houses rising along the hill slope & the best, the flying gull, captured just in the correct place in the FG. Good shot my friend!
Regards
Angshu
