Photographer’s Note

The task of keeping my family's heads above water was tough and it kept me away from being with you in Trekearth.

Today, I opened the account again after several months of absence, I found your continuous support and kind words about my humble shots.

In lieu of my thanks, I am posting a picture I shot yesterday of HANOI and of the gentle autumn to share with you.

By the middle of October 2007, I will have my first visit to the United States for the exhibitions in New York. I hope to have a good taste of the city and the country. I also wish to meet some TE friends here.

This photo is magical. The dark ground and the dark clouds are wonderful layers above and below the bright tones of the sky and leaves. The details are so lovely: the people, the small buildings, the simple, daily life. Where will your exhibition in NY be held?

Lovely Infra-red composition here, which reminds us that even though Vietnam is changing so fast, the countryside is ever beautiful.

You really have some magic with this black and whit pictures in the autumn in Vietnam. I was just commenting on the one you posted today, then discovered this one posted earlier which is maybe even better. This is a fabulous one. The ox cart and the bicycle with thei drivers are awesome in this decor. It is a dream picture which looks like coming from another time.

This is a wonderful work! Congratulations! Everything is perfect here! The contrast is excellent! But the beautiful scenery is the highlight, for sure. Those trees are great and the people riding around...just great! Excellent framing! I am adding to my favorites!
