Photographer’s Note

High up on Sognefjell (Sognemountain) road, the snow was still there in June, and the road is spectacular; narrow and winding. A long tunnell (Fjærlandstunnelen, 24,4km long!) was built through the mountain some years ago, so the trip over the mountain is now mainly a touristroute.

Very nice picture. Interesting way! you composed it well. The background looks like so good! I think it is snowy mountains. However firstly I saw it as a lake or a sea :S

Jeg liker veldig godt bilder av veier med brøytekanter, og dette er ganske bra. Det gir et godt bilde av denne majestetiske fjellovergangen. Jeg ser at du har skrevet at dette er Sognefjellet, men du mener kanskje Snøveien (Aurlandsvegen) der Lærdalstunnelen går gjennom. Fin idé å få med litt av veien foran. Også gode kontraster.
