This worker of the blue city waits for costumers in his strange and original shop. The arch where he stands under is a sign of the nice architecture that this building was once as many in this amazing city.

I noticed that Indians have the ability to fit in small places and relax pretty much everywhere...

Ola Ricardo
Aires

a case where central composition works...the worker was trapped in this arch and all the details on both sides of it create a quasi-symetry...good one, ric...
best wishes, j.

Hello Ricardo,

this is the best POv you could have got on this one..I was thinking of a central compo but then i realized this is the best..I loved his sitting position making use of the structure here fitting very well..!!! Beautifully presented with a great array of broken torches, batteries and umbrellas..!! the repairman , I guess..!!

good one..!!
Regards,
Indro

Olá Ricardo,
today's neighbour, very lovely view with a good choice to do it diagonal. It is fir sure a original shop full of goods in a mixture. We would call it "Kramladen" in Germany to describe that the shop is not dedicated to special goods like clothing or something else, more to what is available. To relax in that position is not possible for me for alonger time but it seems for him usual. Good exposure and natural colours.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hello Ricardo,
A fine street life documentary!
There is an amazing lot of details for me to explore in the frame...
A well composed presentation, and I'm still trying to figure out what his business is...
Greetings,

Hallo Ricardo!
What an intersting picture, what a plenty of details! The offers here a amazing, nearly a bit funny - but somehow the atmosphere is opressive here. Thanks for showing this, for me a pensive making contribution ...
Greetings from sunny Germany!

Ciao Ricardo.
Bella immagine, molto nitida e ben composta.
Complimenti

Ricardo,
As so often in you gallery, you caught here a still life scene in a pleasant and very interesting way.
I like the attitude of the worker, and the POV from the side works well.
Regards,
JB.

It is indeed a strange shop but it is very well organised and I bet he knows exactly where everything is. He looks to be in a dream world, totally oblivious to you and your camera. Good capture with lots of interesting details. The intricate archway and flower details above are particularly intriguing as we wonder the purpose of the building in an earlier life. Well done

Ricardo,

Excelente POV, enquadramento, cores e nitidez.

Hi Ricardo
what a nice daily life scene form India, Focus and clarity is perfect. One proffesional shot. Very well done.

Congrats&TFS
Kind regards

typical of an eastern way of "taking it easy"... the condition of the architecture is really said but than this is life... and it is not so easy in some parts of the world... great shot with lots of details to explore...

take care ric:)...

Beautiful ancient walls, not too neatly kept (which I like), interesting articles for sale (great collection of torch lamps :)), cute little shop and a smiling shopkeeper...
Great photo with a human touch,

Moment of daydreaming? Well-composed with all the gadgets surrounding the man. You were clearly quite careful with the framing, esp. the edges. Good work! Regards,

Hi Ricardo,
What a shop you found here! Second hand batteries! Old torches and all types of strange and seemingly useless stuff!!! Exposure and sharpness is ok... maybe a frontal view would show better the all shop.. but sometimes not easy to do without being spotted by your subject!
Have a nice WE
Laurent

Espectacular, Ricardo. Ainda melhor que o "Strange article for sale".

Belo retrato!

Ola Ricardo,
A daily life scene at its best! From a very different point a unique moment. But its not only this. The worker doesn't look to your camera,a lot of old stuff for selling and indefinable time.It is the most interesting shop I've ever seen.Congratulations for one more fine documentary shot!

wishes for the weekend,

Hej Ricardo,
Very well seen and captured, this waiting shopkeeper. He seems to have found a relaxing position. Interesting to see all the small things he sells and which are placed around the little arch. Well done and thanks for sharing!

Hola Ricardo,
Ultra sharp, and beautifully framed picture of this worker in Jodhpur. You did well in showing us the old Indian architecture, I always wonder when was that great time ?, I always see signs of great architecture, of a past time in India.
Today I'll post a similar picture.
A good caress to your cats and hugs for you
Friendly yours - Izzet

Hi Ricardo,
Indeed this fellow knows how to relax. You really caught the fine light here and I like the slightly angled view. The texture of the facade and all the strange items really create an interesting scene. Very fine work with superb clarity of detail...Demain.

Ola Ricardo,
the most important in this frame is the way that he is relaxing. An original colour of the natives as his strange and original shop.. As i sea there are a lot of things in his shop but i can't understand what he really sell. The arch of his shop is the exaggeration.Well done Ricrdo.

Have a nice weekend,Danos

Great catch. Such a great position, life is just passing by, je can just relax until a customer pops up. Great mix of tools and umbrellas. I like it!

Lovely daily life shot of this worker resting in his tiny office, Ricardo. Looking around it is difficult to make out what he really does for living. Bateries, umbrellas, keys, flashlights ... does that all fit into one thing? At least he fits into the small arch and makes a great place to rest until the next costumer or photographer shows up.

Attractive diagonal framing. A fairly common scene in India, I like that he's not looking at you. A nice way to relax in that small space, but his shop is very well arranged. Looks like he's a man of many trades..but wonder who cares to buy second hand batteries & broken torchlights! A lovely daily light image my friend.

Ola Ricardo:

First at all, thank you for you crittic, I enjoy it so much, you make me smile and make my day.

About this pic, I like the detaisl there, like the batteries, the umbrelas, the locks, and many other things, si so interesting i was thinking in U.S, Mexico and other countries, we put amany of this things in the garbage, bu this still can works and we waiste many of this products mading more and more polution in this planet, I wish this can change, but this need to strat by us.

I like the posture of this guy the colors, nice angle too

Bonsoir Ricardo
Cordialmente.
Obrigado.

Amazing picture... you can stay watching for minutes and still discover new details! And the odd touch of the architecture which I wouldn't expect to find here... excellent!
