Wow! That's incredible! You were there at the right time! Nicely done!
Very good exposure - how did you do it? Did you expose for the entire length of the thunder?

That is really beautifull and I love that it's so sharp in just the roight places, the graphism of lightning is always fascinating. The cloud that floats above the the lightning looks sort of funny it looks like a very local storm :o) Good work.

Nice timing.... just 4 seconds to catch this exceptional phenomenon. The good exposure time gives just the right idea of the brightness of these lightnings.
Great image!

You are lucky! A great picture just from your window, perhaps you can post more of this in the future. The sky seems to crack down. There are not many light in the city as in other TE pictures of lightnings, and I think that that helps to improve the overall picture. But still a very good one. +fav

Well captured force of nature. Hehe... a little advantage is being on the 14th floor for such an event. The twin lighting bolts of different patterns are impressive. The red tones and cloud formations of the sky are beautiful as well. Great composition. Well done.
Super reusita poza. Bravo.

You've got a great view... at least in a storm! This is great that you were able to capture this so well. I always wonder what the ground looks like where lightning has just struck. I like the lit windows in buildings in the foreground that give a glipse into a place that is warm and dry.

An incredible shot, Ioan. I like the way the lighting all seems to be coming from just the one cloud. Amazing detail. Well captured.

Very good capture. The lightning is so powerful. So thick and electric. The lighting is well controlled here so that it really stands out against a dark sky. I have tried getting lightning but I don't have a great view here. In my old apartment I had a great view but didn't have the digital camera to use or the will to potentially waste a lot of film. This reminds me of the great view of storms I had from that window and all the shots I missed. Excellent capture.

This is amazing! I guess you can call it a lucky strike with everything in place, the cloud, the lightining going towards the lit windows below...With 4s exoisure how do you predict when it's gonna hit?!!

Really nicely captured.
It is difficult to achieve a picture of lightenings and you did it with success.

WoW! this photo is impressive. I only wish to one day take a picture this cool. what do you do? when a storm comes, you just keep taking pictures and hope you get lucky? the definition of the lightning bolts is incredible against the deep red sky. One of my favorites thanks

When it comes to lightning shots, this one comes top of the list. Perfect capture, and such a strong bolt to fill the frame nicely. Most impressive Ioan.

I would like to do such a nice picture. I am amazed for so long exposition (4 secs). I wonder about overexposition with so long time. I suppose that this long exposition is only a way to get "the next lightning in the trap". If you had many lightnings simultaneously, the picture would probably be overexposed.
I am waiting for the next storm to get it in my Camera .. hoping to be as happy as you ..
Congratulations ..

Brilliant capture of the lightning, I am supprised that it didnt turn out as a big white mess as the lightning looks pretty powerful!
I also like the fact that it looks like all the lightning is coming from a small cloud!
Brilliant picture, I hope I can get a lightening photo in the next storm. Never thought I would be wishing for a lightning storm!

Cool shot, it must have been a spectacular show with that many bolts in just four seconds. Be careful on your aperature though, you don't want to keep it too open and fry your sensors. I've always been told and taught to close it up as much as you can, it'll be bright enough to catch it still.

This is SO great.
Too bad the camera wasn't a touch higher to give more of the cloud and less of the city.
Still, the exposure is perfect and the timing impeccable.
Well done.
