Photos

I took this photo way back in January 2004. I was waiting for the bus that would take me and my companion from Cebu City to Badian (southwest of Cebu Province). I saw this man outside the coffeeshop I was waiting in and I thought he looked funny carrying a rooster inside a straw bag. So I took a quick snapshot through the glass window. I didn't think about framing, angle or anything like that when I took this photo. I just had to take it. It's not uncommon to find roosters in straw bags or cardboard boxes with holes through them. It's how most Filipinos travel on budget, especially when they bring their pets.

Since I used a really old Fuji digital camera, the quality isn't so nice. The picture's grainy and the colors are faded. I tried increasing the saturation ad sharpening the photo using Photoshop, but in the end I just placed a sepia filter on it. I'll post the original pic so you guys can play around with it if you like.
