Photographer’s Note
10 April 2007, Princes Street, Edinburgh, Scotland
On a bright, sunny, Spring afternoon a tourist photographs the Old Town across the ravine, herself framed between two of Edinburgh's most famous landmarks: the Scot monument and Jenners department store.
Essential Edinburgh: essentialised Edinburgh.

I have had a bit of a hiatus from TE since returning to Australia, in essence living and travelling with a camera made me tired of the whole venture so I took some time away to give both me and the DSLR a rest!

Dear Mike,
On a second regard, they are a lot of things that I like on your shot!
Tilt is great ! Photographer in the middle brings a lot !
Sharpness is excellent. Colors are really well rendered.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Mike, this image has grown to me. The texture of the building against the cloudy sky feels like the building screams: "hey history happened here, and now I'm just a touristic place" Love the POV.
Cheers,
Enrique

I really like the way you take a closer look at things. This is an example. Your photographs give the viewer a lot to think about re what is outside teh frame. I like this.
Cheers
